Hello,

I am new to Forex and while I understand the basics, I have a major issue with Pivots and any help would be highly appreciated.

For example, MATAF pivots data is very very useful, but need help on how to read it.

I am in US Central time zone (-6 GMT). And I trade intraday, normally between 8.30 am CST to 3 pm CST. And I prepare my charts the previous day (for next day trading) at about 8 pm.

Now, How can I get the pivots for next day trading, say at about 8 pm the previous day? What should I do to get this info?

Thanks much for your time.

Hello,
Most of traders use midnight-to-midnight GMT+2 Time (or 5:00pm to 5:00pm EST time - New York).

If you want to use midnight-to-midnight CST Time, just choose GMT-6 in the pivot points form.

You have to choose the pivots which work with your trading system.

Thank you very much Arnaud. This is very valuable info indeed. Just one last question.

I willl go with +2 GMT i.e 5 pm to 5 pm EST, thus, say at 8 pm CST, if I use your pivots webpage and if I select +2 GMT choice, I should get the Pivots valid for next day's trading. Am I correct in my understanding?

Pl advice.

Thanks
