Annoncé par l'office fédéral de statistiques Destatis, l'indice des prix à la production industrielle en Allemagne est ressorti en hausse de +8,1% au mois d'août 2008 par rapport à la période correspondante un an auparavant. La hausse des prix à la production sur un an a ainsi décéléré par rapport à juillet 2008, où elle s'était établie à +8,9%. Par rapport à juillet, l'indice des prix à la production a reculé de 0,6% en août 2008, alors qu'il avait augmenté de 2% en juillet par rapport à juin.
