There are EAs profitable but you won't find them freely on Internet.

Try at Eole Trading they have some working, or learn mql4 language and code your own : if you have good sense and logic it will works (warning : one year or more of full work min to do that....)

too-good-to-be-true

Too good to be true is reasonable conclusion.

If someone have developed software that makes thousands of $$$ until he is sipping his Château Pétrus from crystal glass why in the name of Saint Tomas de Torquemada he will sell his secrets for $99,90 to John Wnnaberich Couchpotato? Can you give one reason?

I agree with what you said...

what I wanted to find out was- is there any EA that produces steady and reliable income with gain>loss... I don't mean make millions in 3 months... but at least some system that leaves me with some profit, as opposed to wiping out my account in a month!

damtoul, thanks for your comment about Eole Trading. Have you tried them? Would you recommond them?

we are humans and like all humans, we suffer from greed. Like all humans, in crucial moments (or market conditions) we lack confidence, we have fear of what might happen and most importantly, we are usually (90% of the time) - inconsistent.
Taking this into consideration, 90% of traders WILL LOSE MONEY IN FOREX. They will consistently give away their money to the other 10%.This, together with the illusion of becoming millionaires overnight trading some "guru's" trading system from an e book, is what keeps the Forex market a great business for Forex brokers and the so called guru's.
If you really understand this, then you can actually MAKE MONEY IN FOREX...How?
The easiest way to do it is using a profitable expert adviser.

I agree!
There is a tread on this in mql4 forum

The only EA that works for me is EXPENSIVE! No one will sell a cash cow for cheap...

I haven't tried them because i develop my own experts. They were on Mataf some monthes/years ago. Just see their website, trade histories of their experts and make your own mind.

I don't trust the expert advisors made by commercial sellers.

Even if you do learn mql4 and make your own EA it still won't be as good as you could be ... You can't integrate experience, creative thinking or discipline into an EA ... You are still better off just doing it the old fashion way ...

I am getting sick of "independent testers" and especially of commercial EA's

The only trusted commercial EA which give free demo access and the author explains his trade logic is Robominer.

For the rest I can only advise to check free EA's like Artificial Intelligence or 10p3 there are bunch of free EA's on the http://www.mql4.com/

Hi

I'm an EA programmer and I would say basically using an already existing EA will not work for everyone. EAs are generally meant for implying your strategy and do automatic trading. If you think your strategy works well and want to avoid time sitting and trading manually, then you can imply the same strategy with an EA and let the sytem trade for you automatically. As you know not every strategy work for everyone.
