Hello,

I thought I would reply to this thread. Hopefully somemore people will post.

I just purchased this EA and started on Monday, April 6. I am using three accounts: Forex.com, IBFX and FXCM. Here is a break down for this week:

Forex.com - 9 trades won, 0 lost, +93 pips
IBFX - 6 trades won, 0 lost, +59 pips
FXCM - 2 trades won, 0 lost, +12 pips

I usually get 2-3 trades per account a day. So far I like the way the EA is handling trades. We will see what this EA brings in the future. The FXCM account was started this week, so only traded one day. No trading on Thursday, due to holiday and all.

I am using this EA and also doing some manual trading. Been a learning process. I will have to say though, this EA using the EUR/USD with lower spreads is so much better than fighting spreads with Fap Turbo.

Just my 2 cents.

yeah intresting this new robot... ive been doing some research.. forexmegadroid is everywhere..

i found forexmegadroid forum. Its got a blog and forum for the forex megadroid robot..

Just checked on my ODL account. Surprisingly, it has shown the best result of all so far, both in terms of consistency and profit level:

Hello Everone

I'm looking for a nice expert advisor that will trade while I'm a way from my computer.

Can anyone tell me if this EA would do the trick.

An update from the Forex MegaDroid developers:

From a user perspective, the new version will be highly informative - the old "Waiting" & "Running" messages have been replaced by a whole sequence of comments which explain what is happening as the robot is running.

In addition, users who have accounts with ECN brokers will find that the robot is now able to place trades... unfortunately, connecting with ECN brokers requires significantly different logic in the trade placement code which we have now implemented - our apologies for overlooking that issue in the initial release.

Finally, we have overcome the instances of "error 1000" for those who were experiencing it and we have removed some unnecessary settings from the Inputs list to reduce confusion.

Now, on to current issues...

If you have been experiencing minimal trades over the last week or so then there are several possible causes:

1) Your broker's pricing conditions (spread, server delay, quote quality) are not good. This can simply be a temporary situation but, if things do not improve then we suggest trying a different broker.

2) Be especially aware that the MegaDroid robot does NOT trade on Fridays, at weekends or on Monday mornings.

3) Check whether you have any error messages or warnings, either on the chart or on the Experts / Journal tabs - if so, please let the help- desk team know about it: Forex MegaDroid :: Support Ticket System

It is also very possible that the robot will not trade for 24-48 hours (or sometimes more), regardless of broker, due to non-condusive market conditions. We have seen such conditions over the last week with all of the very wild swings on EUR/USD as it tries to balance the market sentiment / trader mentality with fundamentals - very frustrating but an aspect of trading life that we have to accept at times. ...

That's because I run the EA off my VPS and access the accounts through my laptop's MT4 in the read-only/investor's mode.

Not one of your images show this; even the image of your platform don't show the EA on it.
You don't even point anyone to the EA.
You claim you get good results while everyone else claims they don't even get it to work.
If you post results this week try to show the EA and your Equity not balance, most traders know you could have $2,000 in profit showing on your balance and be losing $5,000 in your Equity.

Now please let my find out if the EA works.

So far your ODL results look good, and as I work nights in Brition hopefully after working out the time difference (offset) it might suit my needs and results to date look good.

Hope you can help here.

You send them at 17.50 (GMT+1)
So going by these times the brokers trades show a round 21.00 to 23.00 average.

If you look at the brokers platform and workout the last trade 22.58 how far advanced would it be in time from your LAST POST showing 16:53 (GMT+1) on this thread. Hope you don't reply same as yours because I live in Brition too. mataf_wink.gif

Both problems solved; decided to download ODL and purchase the EA.

The EA manual explains the GMT offset issue in detail - just stick to it and you'll have the EA set up properly.

I decided to give Forex MegaDroid the benefit of doubt and launched it off my VPS on four demo accounts - with IBFX, Forex.com, Alpari UK, and FXDD. My IBFX statement is streaming live through the MT4Stats website at http://jacobbeasley.mt4stats.com/

As you can see, the robot took two trades today on it and both closed in profit. I got the same results for the day on the other three brokers - two profitable trades on each. Tomorrow I will have the statements of my accounts with them streaming through MT4Stats as well, so that you would be able to check them regularly at any convenient time for you.
