Hey guys I already have an mt4 demo account in tradeview and I’m really eager to learn how to use some indicators so could someone give me useful info about some indicators?

There is a lot of indicators... What do you want to do ?
Scalping, Swing trading ?

Well I just want to use a very basic indicator since I just started if you could just provide me with the name of the indicator I will look it up just any that you consider really basic...I appreciate your help.

I was looking at some indicators like envelopes and Dmarker but didn’t quiet get the dmarker one do you know anything about this indicator ?

Hey Laura well an mt4 demo account is a software that you can download from any broker you like, it allows you to trade and practice just keep in mind you will not be trading real money this is just for you to practice so you can come up with a strategy that will help you become a good trader. In case you don’t know of any broker I have my account in tradeviewforex so you might want to check that out.

I combine Stochastic, MACD and RSI (and 2 SMAs for visualization purposes), and verify based on 3 timeframes.

Lately Im reading about MACD and RSI but I don’t understand the benefits of one of them, well they work with EMA which is good to me, Im a EMA person. Can you help me with it? Thanks

Thanks Mockingbird! I was thinking to combine MACD and RSI but I haven’t thinking in combine them with Stochastic, Im going to follow your advice.

well, I got experience using that platform which you’re talking about. Actually you may find some tools online and of course for free. What matters here is if you have a good platform, you’re allowed to add these kinds of tools. But if you’re a beginner, you just need indicators and a good chart that you may find in the demo, that’s why a nice platform is necessary.

Hi everybody, this is my first post in this forum, I’ve been using a demo account for a few weeks and I’ve found that the most effective combination for me is: Bollinger Bands and Williams’s Percent Range. If you want you can complement that with an Accelerator Oscillator. That should work.

I easily got the indicators you’re suggesting us. I just know a little about Bollinger B but how may you combine them with William’s Percent R? it’d be nice to know it, actually I’m trying to find out more tips on some forex websites. Andru

I’ve found some tips related to indicator by chance, just reading from online sources. But a really good source to get these tips is a broker. I get newsletters and stuff giving me more than info. Albert

it sounds good, your broker provides you with useful info. we find easily tips as online news and some short analysis. Anyway if you get more than that let us know

I too use the same indicators. Basically all suits me, but here parametres of these indicators for intraday trade were to be specified. Who applies what options?
