I'll tell you how I use the tools. I've made all that tools to help me, they are very specific to my own trading.
But I also listen the advices from traders, if they give me a good idea I'll update the tools.
First thing in the morning I analyse the pair I trade on this page: https://www.mataf.net/en/forex/c/eurusd This chart is very useful because it shows the chart of the pair and the currency indexes associated.
I'm a trend follower, I'm looking for some patterns that validate (or invalidate) a trend. When I analyse EURUSD I also check the currency indexes EUR and USD, I buy the pair only if EUR is up and USD down.
I use a lot the currency index. https://www.mataf.net/en/widget/currencyindex-8 this page has been suggested by a member of Mataf, and it was a GREAT idea.
I also check the correlation table regularly https://www.mataf.net/en/forex/tools/correlation Even more since Rafael on Twitter showed me a template that's way more readable than before. Now you can easily see which pairs are correlated or not. Believe me, it's really useful. For example, if I have a strong signal on a pair I will confirm it on the correlated pairs: a sell signal on EURUSD not confirmed by a buy signal on USDCHF is suspicious. An other example, if I want to buy a pair I may split the trade between several correlated pairs to mitigate the risk: instead on buying 10k of EURUSD I'll buy 5k of EURUSD and sell 5k of USDCHF.
I'm currently working on various tool to analyse the portfolio, https://www.mataf.net/en/portfolio/246/winrate the win rate analysis helped me to see that the trades I open on friday were not as profitable as the trades opened the other days. After a quick analysis I saw that the structure o the market was different on Friday afternoon (probably because of the profit taking) and my stop were hit more often than usual.
hope this helps
