I have a question which relates to something that has been mentioned prior in this thread that pertains to the clock on the VI.
Can you please explain to me why the clock is set to GMT?
Everybody knows that the start of the FX trading day/week is (currently) 7am Sydney(GMT+9), which is London 10pm prev day, which is 5pm NY prev day.
You have created a really great tool here along with many others on your site, and it has only recently occurred to me that this tool attempts to show the ATR of all the Mondays, all the Tuesdays, all the Wednesdays etc, which would make it unique, and far more accurate. However, in order to use the VI in its current setup, 1/2 the volatility of the Monday for example, must be added to 1/2 the volatility of the Tuesday to get the correct Daily ATR reading. The next question of course is "which half?" Historically the Asian session has a low ATR whereas the London Session experiences at least greater volatility, so dividing the previous day's value by 2 is again, inaccurate?
I strongly believe that this adjustment to the settings of this tool will greatly enhance its usability and its accuracy.
Cheers
